Authentication Services
Florida Global University provides guidance and administrative support for the authentication of eligible educational documents, where applicable and subject to the requirements of the relevant authorities.
Authentication services may be available upon request and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
Available Authentication Options
Depending on the destination country and the intended use of the document, one or more of the following authentication options may be applicable.
United States Authentication
Administrative assistance for applicable authentication procedures within the United States, where available.
Embassy Authentication
Where applicable, documents may be presented for authentication through foreign embassies or consulates in accordance with their respective procedures and requirements.
Apostille Certification
For countries that are parties to the Hague Apostille Convention, eligible documents may be processed through the Apostille certification procedure, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is an internationally recognized form of document authentication issued by the competent authority of a participating country under the Hague Apostille Convention. It certifies the authenticity of the signature, seal, or official capacity of the person who executed the document, facilitating its use in other participating countries.
Notary Public Certification
Eligible documents may be notarized by a licensed Notary Public where such certification is required or appropriate.
United States Chamber of Commerce Authentication
Where applicable, documents intended for certain international commercial or administrative purposes may be submitted for authentication through the United States Chamber of Commerce in accordance with its procedures.

As recognition and acceptance requirements may vary by country, institution, or organization, individuals are responsible for confirming the specific requirements of the authority to which they intend to submit their documents.
